Naoussa Paros: The beautiful picturesque village of Naoussa is located in a huge bay in the northern part of Paros, 10 kilometres east from the capital, Parikia. Naoussa is the second largest town in Paros, and has gained a following with the jet set. Naoussa is also famous for its numerous beautiful golden beaches, filling the huge bay of Naoussa, such as Kolymbithres Beach, Agios Ioannis, Agioi Anargyroi, Monastiri and much more. From the wildest and more secluded beach to the fully organized one, those beaches are ideal for everyone, filling every need. All can be reached by footpaths, asphalted road or by caiques (small fishing boats).

 
Every 23rd of August, nine days after the Assumption of the Virgin, a great festivity is celebrated in Naoussa, during which a representation of the pirates raids is performed by the young people of the village, fireworks are thrown and dancing, eating and drinking is continuing until dawn. Many archaeological sites and monuments can be found in the area surrounding the lovely village of Naoussa and are very interesting to visit.Colourful fishing boats dot the harbour of this picturesque and cosmopolitan fishing village, where you can find boutiques and bars and sit in the cafes and watch the rich and beautiful people walk by. The fishing village is still a working harbour and you can find the yellow fishing nets, brightly painted caiques, and pretty tavernas. The breakwater in the harbour is of interest. It is the submerged and sinking ruin of a Venetian castle. Naoussa is the pearl of Paros and offers to its visitors history Antiquities, archaeological monuments and places as the Acropolis of Koukounaries, the island of Oikonomou, the ancient tower. Between Naoussa and Ambelas, Myceanaen installation in Ai Yianni, Deli in Filtzi and Kardagouri, is the Venetion Castle (1836-1516) which concludes the small fishermen picturesque port. There are also, beautiful churches of 14th and 15th century, Agios Athanasios, Agios Georgios, the Catholic church etc. and the Byzantine museum.
